Upon activation of your account with SOHOWeb.ca this agreement becomes active and will become void once the account with the Provider is terminated.

SOHOWeb.ca services may only be used for lawful purposes:

Transmitting, Storage, or Distribution of any information, data or material in violation of Canada regulation or law, or by the common law, is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to copyright, trademark, trade secret, or any other statue. Alien Hosting reserves the right to remove the infringing data from its server along with the account at our discretion. Cirrus Tech. Ltd. forbids anyone using our servers to distribute, store or transmit obscene or pornographic material, or any other material which Cirrus Tech. Ltd. determines unacceptable.

Ethical E-mail Usage (spam):

SOHOWeb.ca strictly prohibits Spam (unsolicited, junk e-mail) being sent from accounts hosted by SOHOWeb.ca. Users found guilty of sending Spam from their accounts will have the account terminated immediately at the discretion of the management. Any fees paid to SOHOWeb.ca will be non-refundable. No exceptions will be made to this policy.
PLEASE NOTE: If a page or script on your site is responsible for the transmission of spam, regardless of whether you sent the spam yourself, you are responsible for any penalties incurred as a result of such unsolicited e-mail or use of resources.

Adult Content:

SOHOweb.ca strictly prohibits the storage, distribution, of Adult Content. This includes, but is not limited to softcore pornography, hardcore pornography, or anything else which may be deemed for legal viewing only for users 18 or older. Users found distributing content of this nature will have their accounts terminated at the discretion of the management.

Cancellations:

SOHOWeb.ca reserves the right to terminate any account at the discretion of the management. SOHOWeb.ca will refund the designated amount as determined by the billing for accounts that have not violated our Terms of Service. If cancellation is caused by a customer's failure to abide by the Terms of Service, then no refund will be issued.

Customers have the right to cancel their service at any time by contacting us at any time.

Access Log Files

SOHOWeb.ca maintains an individual access log for each website hosted. Log files are used by the administration team to determine how much bandwidth a customer is using per month as well as for generating statistics pages. Information is used for calculating purposes only and will not be given to third parties.

Registration/Ordering

SOHOWeb.ca requires users to provide personal information when signing up for our services, Information is protected with the highest of security standards and will not be sold or given to third parties for any reason.

IP Address

An Internet Protocol ("IP") address is a number assigned to your computer whenever you access the Internet. SOHOWeb.ca may record the IP addresses of visitors to its Website. While an IP address may reveal your ISP or geographic area, we cannot determine your identity solely based upon your IP address.
